Marilyn Rash, CPA

Marilyn Rash is a Principal at Blue Ocean Capital, bringing more than 30 years of experience in public accounting to her role. She specializes in income tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, estates, trusts, gifts and partnerships. Marilyn also serves as a family office executive, providing integrated oversight of tax management and family-related services. She is deeply committed to aligning financial strategies with each family’s values, goals and long-term vision.

Marilyn began her career with George S. Olive & Co., a large regional firm in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After relocating to Florida, she became a supervisor in the tax department of Kaufman Rossin in Coconut Grove, where she focused on serving small business clients.

Marilyn holds a degree from Indiana University and earned a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting. She is a Florida licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

She and her husband, Patrick, live in North Palm Beach and have two adult daughters, Hannah and Ava, along with their beloved rescue dog, Millie. Outside of work, Marilyn enjoys boating, fishing, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
