CPA Asset Management Group, LLC d/b/a Blue Ocean Capital (“BOC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of our clients. BOC is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of the personal information that is entrusted to us. BOC takes precautions to maintain the privacy of personal information concerning current and prospective clients. These precautions include the adoption of certain procedures designed to maintain and secure such clients’ non-public personal information from unauthorized disclosures to third parties. Federal regulations require BOC to inform clients of this privacy policy.
BOC collects non-public personal information about its clients from the following sources:
BOC does not disclose any non-public personal information about its prospective, existing or former clients to anyone, except as permitted or required by law and regulation. BOC restricts access to non-public personal information about its clients to those employees who have been advised as to the proper handling of such information and who need to know that information in order to provide services to its clients. BOC may also disclose such information to its affiliates and to service providers and financial institutions that provide services to BOC. BOC will require such third-party service providers and financial institutions to protect the confidentiality of the clients’ non-public personal information and to use the information only for purposes for which it is disclosed to them. BOC may also disclose non-public personal information to regulatory authorities as required or permitted by applicable law. BOC maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to safeguard the Clients’ nonpublic personal information and which BOC believes are adequate to prevent unauthorized disclosure of such information.
BOC does not otherwise provide information about current, former and prospective clients to outside firms, organizations or individuals except at the client’s request to attorneys, accountants, auditors or other third parties of any current, former and prospective client.
Personally identifiable information about you will be maintained while you are a client, and for the required period thereafter that records are required to be maintained by federal and state securities laws. After that time, information may be destroyed.
We will notify you in advance if our privacy policy is expected to change. We are required by law to deliver this Privacy Statement to you annually, in writing.
